Book Summary : So Good They Can’t Ignore You Cal Newport

Image
I recently read a book called So Good They Can’t Ignore You. I came across this book by watching a YouTube video of Cal Newport, which is available on YouTube, in which he was advocating that following your passion is bad advice, and instead of focusing on your passion, you should become so good that they can’t ignore you. I was quite fascinated by his idea. Because when it comes to passion, almost all of us don’t know what passion is. So what about those of us who don’t know what their passion is? So in this book, you will get your answer to what you should do. So let’s start our journey to become so good that they can’t ignore you. Here is a short summary of the book. Rule 1: Don’t follow your passion. In the first rule of the book, Cal Newport has divided Rule 1 into three chapters, and the main theme of this chapter was passion. Chapter 1 starts with The Passion of Steve Jobs, where he talks about the speech that Steve Jobs gave in 2005 at Stanford Stadium, where he advised young p...

Charlie 2015

Image
| Movie Review Charlie    No Spoilers: An upbeat and uplifting film with a creative and unique plot, Charlie (Malayalam), which has received eight awards at the 46th Kerala State Film Awards, has remakes in Tamil and Marathi, received an IMD rating of 8/10, and has a lovely background score. This genre of movie is new to me. Tessa (Parvathy), a curious woman, and Charlie (Dulquer Salmaan), a free soul, are at the centre of the narrative. Charlie (Malayalam) is a collection of short stories. The short stories are an essential component of the film; there is something to learn and take away from each one. These  two  characters,  Tessa and  Charlie,  are far from  reality,  but there  are always exceptions, but short  stories are more or less realistic and easy to relate to.   Charlie (Malayalam) is a blend of mystery, emotions,  lessons , and  art. Its a   feel-good movie.   LIFE LESSONS FROM CHARLI...

Life of Pi

image : creative commons  Life of Pi is directed by Ang Lee and is based on Yann Martel's 2001 novel Life of Pi. It’s a great movie. The message behind the movie makes perfect sense. This is an adventure drama movie with a blend of spiritualism and mysticism, an interesting blend of zoology and theology to explain the questions of the soul. It gives the reason and logic for believing in the existence of God . Life Of Pie depicts the compassionate instinct of human beings that involves empathetic and altruistic emotions at the same time, it also shows the survival instinct (hunger can change everything you ever thought about yourself). Life of Pie is a critically and commercially successful film, with a 7.9 IMD rating and four academy awards for visual effects, direction, music, and cinematography. It has received eleven Oscar nominations. "Human Aspires to Really High Things like Religion, Justice, Democracy but At the Same Time we’re Rooted in Our Human An...
