Charlie 2015

|Movie Review

Charlie

 No Spoilers:

An upbeat and uplifting film with a creative and unique plot, Charlie (Malayalam), which has received eight awards at the 46th Kerala State Film Awards, has remakes in Tamil and Marathi, received an IMD rating of 8/10, and has a lovely background score. This genre of movie is new to me. Tessa (Parvathy), a curious woman, and Charlie (Dulquer Salmaan), a free soul, are at the centre of the narrative. Charlie (Malayalam) is a collection of short stories. The short stories are an essential component of the film; there is something to learn and take away from each one.

These two characters, Tessa and Charlie, are far from reality, but there are always exceptions, but short stories are more or less realistic and easy to relate to.

Charlie (Malayalam) is a blend of mystery, emotions, lessons, and art. Its a  feel-good movie.
